SessionPerc & LogicPro11.2.2 = PitchBend reacts only inside Kontakt, not PianoRole.

Kontakt 8.7.2. with SessionPerc 1.0.1

SessionPerc says: "use the pitch wheel to change velocity".

I only get a reaction in sound if clicking inside of Kontakt 8 onto the pitch wheel and move it there. No reaction inside of Piano Role in Logic. But I need to automate, otherwise the roll sounds way too static.

It is all in Default: fresh track with fresh Kontakt with fresh loaded SessionPerc. Nothing changed from my side.

Logic side menu about MIDI says MIDI to all. Kontakt MIDI says Omni.

More Details:

• Velocity inside PianoRole says Channel1: Velocity. If I choose PitchBend or Modulation, it says Channel 1: PitchBend/ Channel1: ModWheel.
• There is always bugs in Logic that suddenly there is "Channel All" if I open up the piano role. I am 100% using Channel 1 only.
• another indicator is: PitchBend or ModWheel automation stops the sound from the instrument after one beat, then silence, when loop starts again, the sound is back. Weird and not professional to work with.
• MIDI settings inside Logic I have "catch notes: on" (kinda that labelling), meaning if I start anywhere the playhead with a long note in the middle the sound still gets triggered - which makes for me sense only.

I wonder whats wrong on my side?

Not knowing anything about Logic it seems to me enabling "catch notes on" would be problematic if you have long notes that are held for many measures which it typical for Session Percussionist simply due to the caching mechanism that would be necessary to go back and collect several measures of MIDI. The best way to check this would be to divide up your MIDI recordiong into individual measures and just copy them throughout the project. That way if you start on a measure it will always be in time. Quite frankly just turning it off may fix your problem since all of the patterns are redundant within each beat so starting in the middle of a phrase should be consistent wherever you click on your timeline, at least it is in Ableton.
