3rd party VSTs in Komplete Kontrol

Hello everyone,

I have Komplete Kontrol and several 3rd party Synths (Diva, Pigments, Serum, SynthMaster)

If I open Komplete Kontrol I can´t find most of my 3rd party Plugins in the Browser area (only SynthMaster is there).Neither the plug-in in the product filter nor the presets in theresults list.

With the main menu in the header I can find theplugins (.../instruments/VST3/[...]). But I can`t use the preset display to chance presets.

In my memory I was able to see Plug-ins like Diva, Pigments and Serum in the browser. Only after my resonant updated of Komplete Kontrol they are gone.

That`s why I wander, is there something wrong with myinstallation at the moment? Or is my memory wrong.

Hello,

this should work cause those plugins are nks ready as far as i know. In the diva user guide you find an NKS chapter look there page 62:

Diva, Pigments and Synthmaster are all fine here - but I am running KK v2.9.6.

That said - all three should be just as good in KK v3.5.x

You should check exactly where KK v3 is scanning for it's libraries etc and make sure these three synths are listed.

I also remember an obscure issue from a few years back where if you did not install these VSTs (Diva) etc in their exact default locations specified with the actual vendor installers - but instead decided to do your own thing - NKS got really weird.

KK will only ever use it's "known good" defaults when adding paths to scan for NKS library filesets - so if the NKS payload for let's say - DIVA - is not where it's supposed to be - you will be on your own to remedy it.

For serum you need a 3rd party library, only plugins that have NKS compatibility will appear in the browser

I think it was related to the installation locaton.

Pigments I uninstalled from D: and installed on C:. Now its working.

(Reinstalling on D: did not help)

I reinstalld Diva and its working. (I think it was an C: before also)
