Help Creating Panel / Overlay that hold Knobs

Have been developing in ksp and also main.kscript and I have been able to create image skinned ToggleButtons for pads and volume knobs and switchers. Works great and everything is communicating in both scripts (ksp and GUI main.kscript)

The goal is to have a menu label/button at the top that when clicked, a panel/overlay opens up with the knobs. I see a lot of this in Play Series Instruments by NI.

What I keep finding online is Performance view/KSP only and nothing works.

Take it easy on me…new to Instrument creation :)

thanks. Ive given this a go code for code but nothing happens on the front end UI button and knobs show but no hide/show happens. Just wondering what Im doing wrong. Is it because Im on the latest version of Kontakt 8.8

As I said I have no idea about all that stuff but ksp is backwards compatible as far as I know, I think they don't change stuff, just add functionality. There is a ksp manual that is maybe helpful for you

Unfortunately @EvilDragon is not around anymore that often he is the ksp wizard and could help you for sure

Panels done in KSP won't automatically transfer to KompleteUI, you would need to script the UI logic for that in KompleteUI directly. You will probably need to utilize the Popover modifier.

Maybe a stupid question, do you use creator tools? It can things a lot easier I guess?

Uwe303…I built most of the kontakt instrument with just using the main.kscript file and then assign the actions in KSP. After all this I learned about Creator Tools and downloaded it and havent really fully grasped it. Maybe I am at that point now where i need to? Im really close with what I have i just want to remove most of the knobs and macros from the Initial Load for easabilty and put them into a menu/panel structure.

ok I realize I cant have 3 diffrent UI approaches. I think this is whats happening. I design UI with Kscript using Kontakt UI main.kscript and can replace buttons with sprites. Would I need to some how use the popup over modifier in my main.kscript and in that places the knobs I want to appear in a Zstack/Hstack? and then declare them in KSP script editor?
