Absynth 6 - Audio Input - Any clues on how to get this working?

I'm still working through the Absynth upgrade to 6 / REF: "Audio Input"…

* I've tried both Ableton and Logic to route audio to the Absynth VST with the Channel A set to Audio Input (6x mono / 3x stereo, all unlabelled)
* I've tried the native Absynth App too with routing from the audio inputs
* I can use the Absynth VST in effects mode in my DAW although, this only enables the "Effect" tab
* I have RTFM'd

So - NO JOY - is anyone able to suggest how to get started on routing Audio into Absynth?

Not aware of any ability to send “audio” into Absynth - the actual VST instrument.

FX yes. Instrument No.

Instrument “Audio In” is typically a hardware controller IN which is set in the instrument settings.
