For some purposes, I could really use a numeric output of exact positions when editing waveforms (sample number or percent of one cycle and level (-1 to 1 or percent). The position within the cycle can be important for the symmetry of the created wave or parts of it (symmetry highly affects the sound), and the level is important if you use the waveform for modulations (e.g. ring modulation with low frequencies or LFOs if you need a segment with no deviation - it is difficult to draw a horizontal line on the zero axis…). With the Spectrum Editor a display of the number and the relative amplitude of a harmonic would be nice. Absynth 5 offered these displays, I think.
I'm very happy Absynth is back, because I always prefer a sophisticated synthesizer for sound design to all this sample-based stuff.
