I understand that Kontakt instruments are essentially wonderfully controlled sample libraries, but for the sake of your branding, clarity towards customers, and staying an industry standard for composers, sound designers and producers, I think you should make a dedicated plugin for Leap, that is in no way associated with Kontakt, even if it's technically the same engine and plugin. They will drift apart in development in the long run anyway, better to branch off sooner than later.
It's quite fuzzy at the moment what a "Leap extension" practically even is (bought a couple just to find out), and what it turns out to be, is basically loops. It's just very confusing that Leap extensions are Kontakt instruments except they're not really instruments. I have nothing against loops or Leaps per se, just suggest you separate it from Kontakt, that is currently not known to be a "loop plugin", and NI probably don't want to label it as such.
P.S. Posting an "Idea" does not work in the community atm. "Category" menu is emptied yet mandatory, if you select "Idea" from "Post type" menu. Pls fix.
