How to Use Crossfade in Session Strings 2

Does Session Strings Pro 2 have crossfading which can be controlled via cc controller? If yes, how do I find it?

Also, if it is not to much trouble to ask. How is it used. I have read about crossfading between different articulations but cannot figure how to sctually do this.

Hello,

it has velocity switch and key/cc switch for articulations. Velocity switch works with two articulations you can switch between with a defined velocity set as divider, below or above you have either articulation. Key or cc switch can handle up to nine articulations, you switch them with some low keys or with a midi cc and then the value sets the articulation. But it does not work as a crossfader between articulations you have on articulation or another.

You set it in the upper left in the "mode" setting on the main page and if set to key switch you can set it to "cc (or key)" on the lower left over the first three articulations.

Thank you. I am aware of that. So if I understand, the key switch and velocity methods automatically apply crossfading when switching articulations. What if I am playing Legato or Sustained notes. How would I crossfade those?

There is no crossfaded between those articulations, after switching an articulation, the next note is played with that active articulation. As far as I understand it.
