How to Link Maschine MK3 to FL Studio on Mac?

I've been trying to use my MK3 controller on Fl Studio. The controller works with Maschine Daw inside the Fl Studio Daw but when i try to record on Fl Studio it doesn't read the MIDI notes i try to play to record on Fl Studio DAW. I can still here what im playing tho but it wont record the MIDI notes onto the daw. Please help.

are you using the maschine VST in FL studio..... or are you just using the MK3 without the VST?
