Latch pedal problem

Hi,
I'm trying to use a latch pedal on my Komplete Kontrol MK3 49, but I can't get it to work. Sometimes the opposite happens: the sound stays on, and only pressing the pedal cuts the sound. This is obviously the exact opposite of what I want. I have a Maudio pedal and a Fatar pedal, and it's the same with both.

Regarding the pedal. There is a polarity switch on the M Audio pedal, what model is it exactly? And what model for the Fatar one?

Have you tried to set it up in reverse? Sometimes there are misunderstandings with what pedal up or down means.

I think I got it. Then it's like for the Fatar. I think you just need to select toggle and not switch!

my fatar pedal is PS250

this is a latch pedal. I read the support native, and the Kontrol notice. i tryed but it's don't work. I just want to keep my sound when i played another instrument, and stop the sound when i want…like a latch knobs or pedal. i dont understand why it's not so simple than another keybord.

Sorry, not familiar with this model. When trying to get some info it would seem it is more like a footswitch than a sustain pedal. I'm assuming that's what you mean by latch pedal. I couldn't find much info or very vague. How is it supposed to work? Like a regukar sustain pedal, meaning, the notes are sustained as long as you press the pedal or is it more like you hit the pedal once, the notes stay and if you press it again, it stops?

For the M Audio, which model is it? I have a M Audio Sp2 and it's working perfectly. Make sure you check the switch under the pedal. Make sure to select the MIDI template you want to edit on the MK3, go to the sustain settings, it should be set to Mode Switch, Invert Off, Tip should be CC64 and Mode set to Gate (maybe try Toggle for the Fatar), Ring should be CC65, aslo set to gate, both with Off at 0 and On at 127.

yes my M audio is a SP 1. it's not a classical sustain pedal. when you push on it's keeping the sound and when you puh on again the sound stop. when i 'm playing in live i need to keep some sounds all along a song. I can't keep my foot on a sustain pedal
