I'm using guitar rig 7 on a pc with windows 11 and a Behringer UMC404hd interface. I am getting a lot of bass in the sound no matter what preset I use. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks
Do you have the Mix knob on the 404 set to 100% PB rather than a mix of input and playback? If you're hearing the raw input that might explain why GR isn't having a lot of effect.
You don't mention what you're plugging in to the UMC. Are you actually using a (non bass) guitar? Are you going directly from the guitar to one of the jacks on the front (switched to inst)?

PK, I’m using a guitar with a humbucker set to the bridge.
