I recently add Circular and Lores to my collection of NI instruments, which I use via the recently updated Kontakt 8.8.0 player in Logic Pro 11.2.2 on MacOS Sequoia.
When I add a Circular preset to a new track in LP, four instrument layers become available. I would like to assign each of the four instrument layers to a separate track in LP, so that I have better control over volume, pan, effects for each instrument layer during mixing.
I'd like to be able to do the same thing with the three instrument layers that are added when selecting a preset from Lores.
I have followed the instructions on the NI "Using Kontakt as a Multi-timbral Instrument in Logic Pro X" support page, but only 1 output channel is created (with 4 Aux channels) in Kontakt's Output Section. Even after adding 3 more outputs in Kontakt's Output Section, all 4 instruments still only play through Channel 1, instead of each instrument being routed to its own channel.
Does anyone know how to make this work?
