I'm exploring Glaze 1 in the Play Series for Kontakt and have questions about the Riffs sounds, vocal runs activated only by certain keys - they are mentioned in the manual intro but never discussed. Maybe half of them have music keys in their names, for instance 'Kip Rif 2 F# Minor 2', which gives a hint of which notes can activate them, in this case certainly one F and some or all notes over a single octave of that scale activating different riffs, with silence if disallowed notes are struck. How many keys seems very variable, one riff seemed to have only 2 active notes, most have 7, the one with the most found so far has - I thought? - 10. I suppose it's determined by how many riff samples they decided to use?
Is there any way except trial and error to find out which notes will activate a given riff? Is there any way to make the riff sound over the rest of the keyboard? Is there any way to make them easier to use and find active notes? So far the best I can do is reduce to the active octave in Settings> Low Key/High key as a visual cue once found by trial and error.
Sound>Transpose moves them on the keyboard without changing pitch. Sound>Tune changes pitch without moving the keys played.
More info on them would be of interest? thx
