Surround audio settings - multiple outputs?

In standalone mode, surround outputs don't seem to be working properly. in ASIO settings, I am only able to enable 1 stereo output and 1 input. The manual does not mention anything specific to enabling multiple audio outputs in the settings section:

I've tried holding down alt, ctrl, and shift. How do you associate the specific internal surround output to the hardware output?

Hello,

the manual says " selects the pair", so i guess you have to use a daw for surround, maybe it would be too much to integrate cause there are many different setups and possibilities.

it works fine in Absynth 5 though, it’s just the audio setup dialogue in Absynth 6 doesn’t have the additional setup page Absynth 5 has for surround and the one in settings doesn’t work without a way to actually create routings first

wow i never used absynth 5 stand alone, so i now had a look and it´s great and easy to setup

yes I think it’s clear what is missing in Absynth 6
