Is anyone having issues with certain Absynth sounds taking up a lot of CPU resources? I have a i7-4790, which is pretty old, and 32 gigs of ram. I haven't had many issues with other vsts and plug ins, but a lot of presets in Abysnth has my CPU usage going up to 50-80%.

That is a 2014 CPU.

Not exactly sure what you are expecting to see here a decade plus after release.

There is no chance that Absynth 6 was tested on hardware this old.

Overhead is overhead. You need consider something a bit more modern.
