Hi folks,
I have my trusty KKs49MK1 having a little issue on Rotary 360 encoder number 7 which goes weird as moving one direction or another, values goes both ways.
without opening it yet, with compressed air and a bit of spray to restore contacts, I get a better response (it is the second time i do it, first time fixed it for 2 years).
I kind of sense the encoder is ok and that I probably should dive in deeper inside to do a proper cleaning, dust removal, contact cleaning and greasing again but I would like to ask if anyone in this forum ever swapped the encoder himself . I have all required tools and skills to do it myself and was looking for guidance from someone in this great community who already took the leap .
