Kontakt octave range

Hi, I need some help to create a bass guitar from the uploaded instrument that will have 2 octaves, one beside the other. The range of the first octave must be from C1 to B1 and the second range beside the first one must also be from C1 to B1.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,

do you mean you load up two instruments and you want two play both with the same octave but side by side on the keys. Have you tried to click on the wrench symbol, then you should be able to set a note range for the two instruments and the instrument on the higher octave you have to shift down one octave, this should also work from there. If I'm back on my pc I can have a look and maybe send some pictures if you need them for better explanation.

You should find it in the manual page 95 under "instrument options dialogue"

Hi, no, only 1 instrument is loaded (the one I uploaded as file attachment), then the 2 octaves will be side by side. the first one from C1 to B1 and the second one will be beside the first one, also from C1 to B1.

if you can bring more details, it would be great, thanks in advance.

That's possible with a ksp script, it can convert notes to other notes, in your case C2 -B2 to C1- B1. You click on ksp in the upper right in classic view, then load the note converter script and set it accordingly.
