Playing individual instrument from a library ?

I have recently bought an interface called EMEO. This is a replica of a saxophone in which I am. What I am looking to do is to see if there is a way for me to get an individual clarinet , flute, flugelhorn, etc. sound. it seems there are a number of options of these instruments in various forms. If so which package might be the best? And what else might I need. I am very new in this and any feedback and help would be much appreciated.

It depends on how much you want to spend.

Going on the two edges of the spectrum:

SWAM woodwinds are good instruments, but they come at a price, not a very cheap one (even now with Black Friday’s discounts)

BBC Symphony Orchestra Discover on the other hand is completely free and imo contains good woodwinds.

There are 2 aspects to this.

Kontakt instruments give huge scope but are generally not well set up for wind control. Tweaks are needed, but the fundamental ones are very simple and do not require any great expertise. I have used a wind controller for over 20 years and if you search this forum for "Emeo" and "wind controller" you'll find plenty of information about this.

The question of which library. I am about to buy the Kontakt version of Orchestratools Berlin woodwinds which is half price until tomorrow. A large number of high-quality instruments (no sax) for less than 200 euros - a real bargain. Unusually, their website allows you to hear the instruments playing solo and completely exposed, so you can hear what they are like really well. I thought worth mentioning urgently.
