Legato Strings in Session Strings Pro 2

When I'm doing string ensemble passages using MIDI there's always an audible separation between the chords where it seems the new chord will kind of "fade in" and it sounds a bit unnatural. I try over/underlapping the MIDI but it doesn't work. Is there any way to make them connect better and sound more natural? My DAW is Studio One 7

What Style do you have selected in Main and Velocity Switch and which ensemble are you using? All of these have various differences in terms of attack used on the strings
