LOADING INSTRUMENTS IN CONTACT / CHANNELS / ADDING INSTRUMENTS

In the previous versions of KONTAKT, when adding an instrument, it was loaded incrementally and the MIDI channel was updated incrementally in automatic (1, 2, 3 etc).

Now the instrument loads and replaces the one already loaded and the channel is set to OMNI.

Is it possible to change that?

Yes you can! If you go in Preferences > Handling:

And additionally you have to select an empty slot on the left upper side, where you see the first instrument with solo/mute/pan/volume, them if you load the next instrument it gets loaded into the next slot
