My first post here.
I'll be brief… Is there any support, or current way, to average 2 or 3 Spectral De-noise samplings as one applies the tool to vinyl transcription?
Thanks
Hey Dave, welcome to the forum. I've asked my fellow supporters that are well versed in Izo's stuff but we don't really see what you mean here, could you give us more details on what you would like to achieve? Thank you!
You can learn in Spectral De-noise when your selection contains several disjoint regions. This will effectively average the noise profile between these regions.
Sorry for the long delay in responding to these two posts… it's been a crazy time.
Alex, for some reason, I had not applied that method of disjointed/separate selection areas to sample the target "problem" in with the Spectral De-noise tool. I have used that method quite often to apply a Spectral Repair setting. To expand a bit, I have also used the same technique to "paint" irregular areas for Spec-Repair that works well. Thanks for jogging my noggin'!
(Now to post something that drove me back here about the Instant Process tool… )
