How to use phrases from free libraries?

Hi!

Bear with me cause I’m pretty new on trying to understand Kontakt. Using it for playing Kontakt libraries I can but understand and work with the program, not so much.

My question is: In several smaller and often free libraries (like Warhorns from Sonuscore) I find that each phrase or sound is assigned to just one key on the keyboard. How do I put one particular phrase/sound on the whole keyboard or at least over 2 octaves so I can play it like a normal instrument?

I know that I can sample the sample and then adjust the pitch but it feels like there must be an easier way within Kontakt, that I just miss al the time.

I hope you understand my question and if any of you know how to do this or if you know about a tutorial that explains it in an easy way please let me know.

Not without reprogramming the keyswitches for library.

Which can be easy or extremely complex dependant on the library and your skill within Kontakt.

AND - if the library even allows editing in the first place. Many do not - espeically commercial grade libraries like those from Sonuscore.

Phrases is a "Tool" which is different from a Library which is actually an instrument that you can play in a normal fashion. In practice, within Kontakt you can load both an instrument library like Alicia's Keys and a Tool such as Phrases and have the phrases played on your selected instrument.

Your best bet is to go on YouTube and search for "Kontakt Phrases" and I'm sure you'll find more than enough videos to help you get started with how to use them together.

I understand that I was unclear cause it’s not the Tool I mean when I say phrases (English is not my first languish). What I mean is this:

I have a small libraire. When I load it into Kontakt I get on key C1 “Ta-ta-taa”, D1 “Ta-taa-tata” and on E1 “Taa-ta-tataa” Now I want E1 “Ta-ta-tata” not only as a E but as a C to B. Is there an easy wat to do that in Kontakt?

Oh, I suspected that… my technical skills are limited but I guessed that if this was possible it wouldn’t be that hard. The free libraries are just teasers I guess, with limited options. In some I’ve like 4 root keys, not even a whole octave.
