Teething problems

Hi folks, I have fired up my new A25 and installed the Komplete software. All seems to be working an connected, I can hear the sound previews when browsing but get no response when I hit the keys.

Tried using it in Ableton and the keys are responsive on MIDI tracks, including octave switches, pitch and modulation wheels.

Has to be something ridiculously simple? Can't figure it out though, if anyone can help?

Not a lot of detail here - but it sounds like an Ableton thing.

What exactly are you expecting to hear? And how have you set up a track in Ableton?

Their forums should be able to give you pointers on how to get a MIDI controller working in their software.

If you are in Ableton, just check your MIDI preferences in Live that the MIDI input port for the A25 is selected as a Track input (be sure it is the MIDI input and NOT the one labelled as "DAW" as that is the control input from the keyboard

If it still isn't working, post a screenshot of your midi preferences

The settings for your keyboard inputs in Ableton can be found Options→Settings→Link, Tempo & MIDI
