For some time now I try again and again to load my West Africa library on my Maschine+ without result. It's installed on my Mac and runs even in the Contakt 8 plugin in Ableton Live but is invisible in the Maschine+ device. Help!
It simply is not a library supported by M+.
Only few does, and if you have a M+ you should have a look at the list of compatible ones and be aware of it. In any case, it is simple: what appears as available in the M+ library are the only ones that work.
Only way to use something like West Africa on M+ is sampling it with Auto Sampler. Not a pleasant experience with a library of that type imo

It is not something to fix.
Simply a lot of libraries (like… almost all…) are not available in M+.
Unless by “fix” you mean they should add them. But… don’t be too hopeful: they just started to add some libraries (only Play Series ones) very recently (like… last week 😂). Otherwise the available ones have been the same since the birth of M+.
We will see what will happen… but the limited “power” of M+ tells me we won’t see the dream of “let me use all my NI stuff in M+” become reality…
Hopefull going forward, as NI develop new instruments and FX, they'll do so for desktop and standalone in parallel, like Akai do for most of theirs.
It's a shame that this "partnership" they've got with Akai hasn't resulted in any Akai stuff coming our way. Seems to be a bit one directional at this point in time.
