Kontakt 8 used to work as expected, however with recent update to v8.7.2, I am experiencing two recurring problems.
First, from within DAW (Bitwig 5.3.13), with an existing Kontakt 8 instrument on a track, when I select to open the Kontakt UI for the FIRST time for that track since starting the DAW, it displays Kontakt but the initial view is as if no instrument is selected. Even if I click the Play triangle, the view does not change. Note that if I click Library icon, then Play triangle again, it DOES display the instrument GUI. Note, it occurs on different tracks, different instruments, different projects, leading me to believe Kontakt is the issue…
Second related issue is SOMETIMES it does load the instrument view, however only partially… as shown in image below. Even with GUI messed up, the instrument "plays" correctly.
Something tells me these issues are related, however I do not know how to diagnose. Issues did not occur prior to Oct/Nov Kontakt 8 updates.
Any suggestions?
