No, not in standalone mode, only in controller mode.
Settings > Default > Metronome.
Thanks . I did try that but the new Metronome sound didn't carry over to the Maschine+ standalone. Did I miss a step?
Oh, no. Sorry I wasn't very clear, I meant it doesn't work standalone at all, only when fully using it has a controller.
