Hi,
I’ve discovered that when any instance of Cinematic Rooms (VST2 or VST3) is active on any track (even FX or Group),
Kontakt (7 and 8 player, but not Kontakt 5).8 freezes for about 8–10 seconds every time its instrument editor window is closed. This is either with or without a Kontakt instrument loaded.
The file→options submenu also lags when there is a Cinematic Rooms instance present in the project. Before the submenu appears, a small black box appears until it draws the final GUI. T
This happens both in Reaper and in Cubase and this behavior does not happen on any other plugin.
My system is easily up to the task of running it and all audio operations are going smoothly. Liquidsonics support (the company that makes Cinematic Rooms) could not reproduce the problem.
I have gone through all the knowledge base operations of Kontakt and have also updated my GPU (RTX3080), deleted Kontakt preferences, etc.
This is an empty project, but it gets worse the bigger the project is. The issue dissapears completely when Cinematic Rooms is removed from the project.
Any idea what i can do to fix this? It's quite a workflow disturbance in the heat of things.
