Kontakt 7 choir - can I extend the range of voices eg the bass?

Ordinarily you'd find the spanner icon and select the keyboard part then drag the range upwards. But with the Kontakt 7 instruments the spanner icon is missing and there's just a NI logo instead.

In the choir instrument the bass only goes to A2. Bit low - I need Bb2.

Pitch bend doesn't go the whole semitone up.

How can I extend the range of the instrument?

You can't. But what you can do is tune the whole instrument up a semitone in the Instrument Header.

You'll then need to transpose the MIDI down a semitone - some commercial instruments allow you to do this. Or you can try doing it in Instrument Options (gearwheel where the spanner should be), but this may not work in the presence of some scripts. Maybe your DAW can help, or a multiscript, otherwise you'll just have to adjust your MIDI input.

You'll lose the bottom note, and if this is important you can have 2 instances of the instrument, transpose one and limit the note ranges in Instrument Options.
