One week ago I noticed, that it took a much longer time to load a new Kontakt instance. Closing a Kontakt instance needed 13 seconds.
I have a Cubase 14 Pro template with 700 tracks, all deactivated and it was unable to work.
I got that issue fixed with disabling the GPU
WIN+R —>
"C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\Kontakt 8\Kontakt 8.exe" --disable-gpu
Luckily this step writes the GPU disabling in a configurationxyz.db3, so it is then also valid for the instances in Cubase.
I honestly don't know, what was the reason for this error. I remember, that there was a Windows Update in the last two weeks and a Kontakt8 Update.
The first step was updating the GPU driver, but without success.
ist there anyone of you, who noticed the same behavior of Kontakt and knows, what the reason is?
