hey guys, let me start by saying I’ve read all the literature I could find and all the pertinent posts I could find here about this topic and while some have come close they are still lacking. And so l… I post.
Anyway, I’ve worked with Arturia for a while now and felt I needed something more. After an absurd amount of research I landed on Komplete kontrol and the route I wanted to take.
Like many on here who went the second hand route. I just didn’t have 1200 bucks to shell out for a new controller, especially since I’d never even laid hands on an NI before. So I found a good deal on a well cared for s61 mk2 and jumped on it.
Turns out the owner is a middle school music teacher who was gifted this controller years ago and he never really played it. He is a guitarist and that’s it. So it’s sat in his music from this whole time and had never been registered by him. Which I assume means it’s still in the OG owners name.
I’m sure you guys seem my predicament by now. No way to reach the OG owner, seller can’t help, I already paid everything I had for this equipment. I do have screen shots of the messenger convo that resulted from the marketplace listing as “proof of purchase “ summoning that’ll work bc I haven’t heard back from support yet. It’s been a week l, and crickets. is that normal or are they basically just telling me tough luck kid?
