OneLibrary | Soon™️ official export from Traktor And Djay to modern Pioneer standalones.

Looks like device library plus (CDJ 3000X, Opus Quad etc.) will be renamed to OneLibrary and Djay and Traktor will be granted to implement import/export to it.

That means you will at some point in the future plug in a Rekordbox USB, see the playlists and tracks in Djay and Traktor, changed it grid, add new tracks, create new playlists. Take that same USB, plug it into the CDJ-3000X at the club and play 'dem tunes.

Will not work on CDJ-3000 non X and older I guess.

Knowing Native Instruments they have an implementation ready in no time, if your definition of no time is 2 years.

Being able to import tracks that have been analysed in Djay Pro with Fluid Beatgrid is certainly a big win.

Of course it would be nice if other software was capable of such analysis natively but at least there's a workaround now.

It does work on the standard 3000s

This is really cool for B2B setups and will encourage more touring DJs to explore hybrid setups. Really cool!

With a pair of CDJ-2000NSX2 and a pair of CDJ-3000’s at my current residency that I use with Traktor, I will probably test this out as a good backup solution for a start.
To be honest, the HID functionality and some of the on screen compatibility with the CDJ-3000’s and Traktor software is not as refined as with the NXS2’s, so I’m keen to see how the combination of Traktor beatgrids and cue points work with the 3000’s in their native USB format.

No. For that lexicon dj would probably still be better.

This is about exporting to USB.

If this is of interest to anyone:

Synchronizing different libraries is now FREE in the basic version of Lexicon! You no longer need a €9 subscription!
Only those who want to edit their own libraries in Lexicon need a subscription.
I use it myself with all DJ programs, and it works almost perfectly now.
