Maschine 3 software not detecting Mikro MK3 controller, any help?

Hi, does anyone know of any reason why my Mikro MK3 controller is not being detected in Maschine 3 software?

I purchased this a few months back but never got round to using it. It has been registered and software installed but when I tried to use it nothing happened! Software opened, controller plugged in (all lights flashed for a second then went out except for the tiny screen which displays Maschine Mikro).

I checked in devices on the PC and it was listed as connected but for some strange reason in the software under the controller tab all devices are greyed out (even though the Mikro MK3 is connected!)

I even tried changing the usb cable and using different ports (via a hub and directly into the PC) but no luck. If anyone can shed some light on this issue it will be greatly appreciated, many thanks.

Hello,

have you checked windows services, there must be "NIHardwareService" and "Hostintegreationagent". Both must be runnung, set to autostart.

Have you checked the preferences and there the audio settings, normally you should use an asio driver. What audio interface do you use?

Thank you, that got the software to detect the hardware, now I just have to get the sound working!!!

Yeah, it didn't take long to figure it out. It wasn't routed to my Komplete Audio 6, 1 click and it's all good!
