Massive X: Macro knobs unresponsive

I'm having difficulty with the macro knobs. The existing macros work for presets. But I find if I make a new macro (like macro 9), it's unresponsive. I drag the little red number beneath 2 controls. Let's say wavetable1 filter and amp level as an example, although it doesn't seem to matter which one I choose.

If I move the macro knob, the sound does not change.
If I move the wavetable filter or the amp level knobs, it does change the sound.

I notice the same behavior if I try to create an automation clip. I'm using FL studio.

You need to assign a modulation range to the macro by clicking and dragging in the modulation slot (the red 9 under the filter knob in osc1 section in your case)

And if you want the macro knob react the same as when adjusting the parameters just drop it on the actual knob, rather than the modulation slot.
