I have a rig kontrol 3. I know it works on guitar rig 5. Is it possible to buy a license for this version still? Or could I buy a 7 registration and just use a cracked copy off the internet… I'd really prefer to be able to use the rig kontrol.

And yes Rig Control 3 and Guitar Rig 5+6 are now discontinued.
Now - NI has added a new capability to "download" all previous versions of any licensed software in your NI account AND I can see that GR5 is still able to be authorized within Native Access - so…
You might consider purchasing GR7 and that "might" get you access to the prior versions.
This suggestion is pure speculation and I would strongly recommend you reach out the NI Sales Support before purchasing anything to confirm what (if any) prior versions of a given product you would get access to - by purchasing a current GR7 license. Worth asking anyway.
The only other option - you would need to purchase a third party copy of GR5 and get it into your NI account.

GR 5 is not considered a previous version of GR 7. They are distinct products.
In the download page of your account you will find all released versions of GR 7, but not previous iterations.
