Mouse pointer constantly curls in Contact 8

Why does the mouse pointer constantly curl with a blue circle in Contact 8? It's really annoying and getting on my nerves!
Here is my system (see image). I don't know what to do anymore. Can anyone help? I'm not a technical genius, and the curling cannot be captured with a screenshot. The mouse pointer works normally in Contact 7.

Why does the mouse pointer constantly curl with a blue circle in Contact 8? It's really annoying and getting on my nerves!
