I have Kontakt 8 and I can't seem to remove Piano Uno from "Combined". This means that any instrument I add, has Piano Uno with it. I am new to this, so forgive me if the question is naive. Any help is appreciated.
Hey Pita.
I will try to help to you figure this out.
It seems to me that only few instruments have the combined presets. In my case 8 instruments. It could be that you only have the Piano Uno that supports it and so every preset you see is for Piano Uno. How many instruments do you see when you open the combined tab? If you see more than one then click on one of them to highlight it and you should now see presets for this selected instrument. If you have Piano Uno highlighted like in this picture then you can only see Piano Uno presets. Please let me know if this helps.
The combined libraries just specify which libraries contain additional presets that might use additional Kontakt tools like chords or phrases. When you select Piano Uno it defaults on the area to the right of the screen as 'All Banks', but if you select the down arrow next to All Banks it shows you a selection for Multis and if you hover over that selection you'll see you can select presets that use Chords or Phrases tools.
If you choose Phrases you can select a phrase and both the Piano Uno will be selected as the instrument and the Phrase tool will be added with that specific phrase. It's just a quick way to not have to do those two separate operations within Kontakt 8.
Thank you for the replies. I only had Piano Uno showing. I downloaded a factory selection which also appears now in the combined area. The problem has gone away.🤔
