I have successfully instantiated the AU plugin for Guitar Rig 4 (see screenshot). I am running MainStage 3.6.6 and loading an old Concert file. GR4 does show up in the Patches (see screenshot). However, the actual patch settings for GR4 don't seem to be loading (see screenshot) - all I get is {no sound}, no matter which patch I try to look at. Is this because I'm in demo mode? I have no idea how to activate GR4 at this point… Any advice most appreciated

Guitar Rig 4 has been long since discontinued and cannot be activated via Native Access here in 2025.
Your only option is to reach out to NI Support - but be sure to temper expectations as this product went out of support years ago.
