Recently switched to using Traktor 4's internal algorithm to create my stem tracks. The issue im having is when importing a new track and creating a stem track out of it, it does not categorize the file type as a .stem track. This makes the track not appear in my Smartlists that have a "content type: stems" filter attached to them. When creating stems outside of Traktor and importing them this issue does not exist.
For example both of these tracks are stem tracks. The bottom track (Too Shy) was created outside Traktor then imported. It shows up in my smartlists filtered for only stem tracks. The top track (Self Control) was created within Traktor and will not appear in my filtered smartlists.
I cannot find a place to change the file type from track to stem anywhere in the Traktor settings. Only Track, One-shot, or Looped.
Does anyone have any ideas how force Traktor to see these tracks as stems. Or any ideas to help with this issue?
