Fl Studio 25+Addictive drums 2+maschine mk3 integration?

I have tried to integrate AD2 with fl studio and maschine mk3 for ages but can't resolve this.

I can get sound in ad2 with a mouse, but when it comes to integrating the maschine mk3 I can't get any response from the pads in midi mode.

Thus when I come to remapping the pads I can get no response from the pads to do this.

I have opened it in maschine 2 software and can change the pads for maschine software drum kits, but alas i cannot load the ad2 vst into the masch software and do it like that. Maschine has an empty shell where the ad2 vst is.

I have in fl studio opened the vst ad2 and can get sound throught the mouse.

I have reisntalled ad2 several times relocating the vst c drive files and rescanned them, but still it won't be 'seen' as a dl file.

Can anyone advise me on this one please?

Hello,

normally you use a standard midi template and use the group buttons to switch the octaves/keys the pads play, that way you should be able to play ad2, of course if midi is routed correctly.

AD2 got back to me and said they do not support maschine mk3 unfortunately.

Wasted hours trying to make it work and apparently some people can work around it, but not me :D

You can use it as you described it, ad2 as plugin in your DAW and maschine in midi mode as I described it. Cause maschine then works as a normal pad midi controller giving out midi note information.

I tried that but it doesn'r register pad signals in its General Midi or AD2 modes.

The recent update has changed how I can use mk3 as i can't set the audio and midi files as easily as ad2 of the past. Tehy have moved away from standalone and into full DAW integration only.

I tried maschine mk3 as the device in the DAW, but to no avail. I assigned the correct ports but still AD2 couldn't pick up the signal as a midi device in the vst plugin.

Tried and failed so getting my money back luckily.

The Abbey road kits in the maschine will suffice. They are good kits overall and the lessons I will do with Quest for groove means i can reassign the pads to the layout i need.

I think there is a trial version of ad2, I will download it, test it myself and report back. I can test it within cubase but that should not make any difference, if it will work there it should work in any other daw same way.
