Komplete Kontrol 3.5.1 only enable Kontakt 6 vst3 to load

in windows 10

only Kontakt 6 can show and load in komplete kontrol.

use the last version of NI plugins make nothing, kontakt 7 & 8 are never taken as vst3.

this is very boring and totally useless with recent libraries. K8 works perfect but not in Komplete kontrol that can't load the plugin, never showing in plugins list.

clean & reinstall change nothing.

Please try to explain this scenario a little cleaner. Not exactly sure what this issue is - to be honest.

Need your OS, your DAW and exactly where you are seeing this issue.

it is a win 10 pro on a lenovo ideapad with AMD A9 7th gen cpu (avx ok)

maschine also give the same result, only K6 is loaded.

so all last libraries are not compatible.

rename kontakt 8 vst3, edit a fake version info, make nothing. K7, K8 are never taken.

i found a way to get it working (also in maschine) but it is mad.

in fact the bug come's from ni-plugin-info.exe in

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments\Komplete Kontrol

that crash on K8 scan.

so it generate a bad Plugin_kk3.data file in

C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Native Instruments\Komplete Kontrol

i hacked the bad Kontakt 8 scan result by replacing the wrong part of the code from a working computer data. (using an older AMD cpu not avx)

all the top of the Kontakt code (missing) was manually added to Plugin_kk3.data

so it can generate a valid Plugin.data that can also replace the maschine one.

now both can see and load K8, the first opening is super long but works.

this is not a normal situation because it only works from this hack.

the ****** part seems to come's from the plugins info.exe scan result, not allowing K8 and crashing.

i managed to repair Maschine & Komplete Kontrol this way. this is totaly not the classic method.
