MIDI CC assignment in Conlfux

I'm wanting to assign a MIDI CC to 1 or more parameters in Conflux. But the usual right-click on the knob or fader in the instrument only brings up the Quick-Load window at the bottom of the screen.

I have tried the assignment process as per this page, but no luck there either.

The right click is not working for certain libraries. Here's a workaround:

open classic view
go to Midi Automation tab
hit the Learn Button there
turn the control on your midi device, you want to assign
left click on the control in the Instrument UI, you want to assign to that CC
you can save the NKI via "Menu/File/Save as" in order to keep the assignments
