Since today my FL projects won’t open anymore. After testing, it comes down to Kontakt + Fruity Wrapper. I've been losing my mind over this.
- FL Studio 25.1.4.4951, Windows 11
- Kontakt 8.6.1 VST3 loads fine with one instance
- Adding a second Kontakt instance → FL hangs indefinitely (even in empty project)
- Standalone + Komplete Kontrol work normally
- Wrapper settings of Kontakt 8 also hang (takes ~10 minutes to open even with one instance)
Tried:
- Multiprocessor support off in Kontakt
- FL generator multithreading off
- Smart Disable off
- Reinstalled Kontakt 8
- Removed Kontakt 7
- Reinstalled FL Studio
- Deleted FL settings/cache
Same behavior with Kontakt 7.
Yesterday everything worked, today it suddenly broke. Updated everything after I experienced the issues, no change.
Anyone else seeing this? Or found a workaround?
