Will Maschine MK3 get the same DAW control as the Komplete Kontrol S

I really like the Daw integration for the KK S. Will this be available for Maschine MK3 in the future? My problem is that I don't have a space for the KK S 49 as I believe will be others like me. A KK S 37 would be a great companion for maschine.

I always thought the whole point of Maschine - is/was to not have to use a DAW at all - so not sure how this makes a lot of sense.

I guess the point is whatever you want it to be, being able to switch from controlling the Maschine Plugin to the DAW is usefull for some folks, It makes the controller multi purpose.

If "DAW Control" already exists, theres no reason to not make it better IMO but I would not get my hopes up, "DAW Control" was never added to the M+ in controller Mode even tho it's basically just an MK3 when in that mode, so… yeah. NI might be on a path to abandon this.

Honestly I started with this idea, but I missed some features specially internal midi routing and that previews of samples/preset would sync with the project tempo. So I started using it as a plugin inside Logic and Ableton and the M MK3 is perfectly capable of being a great midi controller for a DAW (if it can get the GUI in the screen as the KK S) that would be awesome. There's a community midi remote script for Ableton and works really well,.
