I installe the firmware and drivers for my s61 Iwas adding disk access and trying to get the two to sync some how it worked. Today Iget in from work boot everything up and its not working the s61 has now control in machine software. I noticed I have to load a instrument and it shows on the s61 Isee knob controls but no trans port controls when Im in the browser I notice it's not sync with machine only the browser on the s61 is scrolling. the s61 one has has midi 1.0 and midi 2 not sure what they are for. I need the correct t help to get this issue permanently resolved.
Maschine hardware is the principal interface here for Maschine software, but you can link the S series mk3 with the maschine MK3 hardware to benefit from particular features.
The issue is that Maschine hardware has been designed purely for Maschine software and the Komplete Kontrol series uses different features and bindings, they can work together but it's a relationship between the maschine MK3, Kontrol S MK3 and software.
I would admit to a desire for the maschine MK3 to work in DAW mode like you can achieve with the Komplete Kontrol series, so that you could effectively perform the same processes, but at the moment, as I understand it, from a business standpoint, that isn't something NI is looking at, but I have laid some groundwork down with a few people to request this feature. We can only hope.
Maschine MK3 is a really nice interface, I love the feel of it and it's features, Maschine software with the Accessibility helper takes a little getting used to, but I'm fine with that.

The MK3 keyboard does not have any control of Maschine and I am pretty sure you need Maschine 3 to do anything of any more value but currently, NI do not integrate the MK3 keyboard with Maschine transport, yes it was a bizarre move but in their own words, not enough people own Maschine and a Komplete keyboard to make it important enough for them to develop support… Its users fault for not buying everything NI make…
Kontrol MK3 integration requires Maschine 3 so you'd need to update
yo I’m not new to this. I know how to check compatibility. I’ve seen ppl use it machine 3 software. Mines don’t for some reason so of course the first thing I did was update my drivers to all my hardware latest version of complete control install machine three software update. So that’s basic information that I’ve known already.
