Product Not Scanning In Kontrol S MK3 Updater (Komplete Kontrol S61 MK3)

Hi all,

I'm having an issue with the Kontrol S MK3 Updater during the setup of my new keyboard. I've installed Native Access, added my serial number, and installed the Hardware Connection Service, but I'm unable to update my device because it does not appear in the KSMK3 Updater tool (screenshot above), and does not appear after re-scanning. I’m using a USB-C powered connection, and the keyboard is lit up with the welcome message on the screen.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I found a solution but will leave this post up in case anyone else runs into the same issue.

I hadn’t realized there are multiple USB-C ports on the back of the keyboard. Make sure you connect to the “HOST” port, not the “(Power) ONLY” port.
