Hello, I want to get Kontakt 8, but I own an old version of Cubase. I eventually will get a newer Cubase version, but in the meantime I was wondering if Kotakt 8 would be compatible with my Cubase Artist 6. Thanks!

You will need Cubase 13 (I believe) as a starting version.

I think for just Kontakt you should be ok with Cubase 6 as long as you run the 64 bit version and it supports VST3, which I think it did. Download Kontakt 8 player and give it a try, the worst it can do is not work. And let us know if it works or not :)

I checked again and cannot see any specific DAW restrictions for Cubase 6 ART. I see you are running Win 10 - which is all good.
So yeah - give it a try and let us know.
