NI seem to be closing down discussion about the issues related to the botched up updates of the Session Guitarist Series. They are simply saying if you are having troubles you should roll back to previous versions not containing the update. Yes this a fix of sorts to get back your capabilities to use the Software. however it's not a fix. For example I can't get Picked Acoustic to load at all in Kontakt Player 8 ( that's the latest vrs). Also functionality of Sunburst Deluxe was bad. Loads of the program didn't work. The updates don't seem to worth having if they don't work properly.
Instead of telling people they must roll back to previous versions they should be looking to take down the updates until they work properly. These issues are4 not fixed.
