I was pleased and fac#scinated to hear that NI were going to update all the Session Guitarist Series with updates to bring them in line with newer releases of the series. Progression builder was potentially what fascinated me the most. So I did the update through Access. However i was a bit disappointed with the upgrade to Electric Sunburst Deluxe because there wer many issues that need toi be sorted so it seems. Yes I was aware that there were problems that it didn't respect previous work and only worker in Kontakt player 8. This has been detailed. however other issues don't seem to have been raised.
There seems to be a massive conflict going on between the Auto Chords function because it just isn't working as I have come to expect when I ran it before. It just doesn't recognise the inputs of nidi that you make. I was suprised that it was still in there because in Electric Mint that function is not present as it concentrates on the Progressions that you can have. I like MInt but it would have been nice to retain the Auto Chords. However in Electric Sunburst Deluxe you seem to have both but the Auto chords just doesn't work. It doesn't recognise the sus chords or the 7th or the 9th's. Something is overriding its functionality and it seems to be the Voicings. Yes it plays the voicings but Auto Chords should be able to overide that but it doesn't. Even when you switch it to no voicings the Auto Chords doesn't work for you. You can go to as played but that really does away with any need for Auto Chords anyway.
Also it wasn't auditioning all the available styles. Some just wouldn't play.
I decided to unistall with Access and go fort a Manual Download of the previous version. Auto Chords works even in Kontakt 8. I was hoping for more but maybe yiou should be careful what you wish for.
