when I switch tracks the display window on my MK2 S88 shows the same track and doesn't switch to the current track display. also the transport buttons do not work.

To reset the integration to default, please try the following:
Go to Control Surfaces > Rebuild Defaults
Delete this file: Macintosh HD/Users/Username/Library/Preferences/com.apple.logic.pro.cs
Note: the User Library folder is hidden. To access it, click on Go in the menu bar and press down the Alt key. You'll now find the Library entry in the menu:
