Ozone 11 Advanced will not instantiate in Studio One

I finally migrated over from Izotope subscription to NI recently. Native Access shows Ozone 11 Advanced as installed. Individual tools within Ozone will insert into DAW but Ozone 11 Advanced Suite with assistant will not. It shows in DAW browser list along with all other plug-ins and will appear to drag but when dropped into inserts for mastering, it doesn’t instantiate…no UI appears, nothing appears under inserts. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but no success. I have submitted a ticket to support but have not heard back yet. Suggestions?

What OS? What version of Studio One? Ozone 11 is working normally here in Studio One. Need more info.

Not exactly sure what you mean by this - specifically.

In my layout (Studio One 7.22) - this is what I see:

Each and every item here can be dragged into a session. But exactly none of them have a label or title of

"Ozone 11 Advanced Suite with assistant"

Would help if you could clarify what this means or is this an expectation you have that is not actionable?

Many thanks for your help. Your list from browser appears as mine. Up until I migrated my Izotope subscription to Native, I have been able to drag the top Ozone 11 plug-in from your list into my mastering project page inserts, which provides a UI for the mastering assistant to then listen to a section of the mix and provide a starting point incorporating all tools within Ozone 11 from one UI. Then user is able to adjust each suggested setting across all Ozone tools from within this single UI.

Individual tools will instantiate in inserts window and deploy respective UI, but the Ozone 11 suite with mastering assistant will not. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times with no success.

Just tried this on a project in Studio One - the Ozone UI loads and then I can click in the Assistant to "analyze" the entire mix as noted. Seems all normal here.

And I do not think that what you are seeing has anything to do with a subscription migration. All plugins are installed locally and generally do not care about how they are licensed.

Thanks for your reply. May be a coincidence in timing I suppose. Hopefully support ticket will result in a solution. Meanwhile any suggested fixes are welcome and appreciated.

Update: I updated my studio one to version 7.2.2 hoping that whatever gremlin is causing the problem might get sorted….no luck.

Just so we are on the same page - do you see this:

1 - Select "Ozone 11" plugin item

2 - Drop it into the Master section (of a Project)

3 - UI appears - blank at first (indicated by icon activated under the rightmost arrow) - but I can click on the colored icon (left most arrow) and see a blurb that says "Play The Loudest Section of your Mix"

Or do you see nothing at all?

Is there a possibility - you are actually launching this dialog - but cannot see it because it is off the screen?

If so - when in the Project Page (or any area of S1 actually) click on View→Windows→Reset Window Positions item and see what that does.

Yes, the steps and UI you show are what i have always seen in the past. I get as far as dragging Ozone 11 to the inserts window but when I attempt to drop it in, I see only a very brief “loading circle” and then nothing - No appearance in the inserts list, no loading of the UI. The final step of the process seems to get interrupted. All other tools will load and show UI with same drag and drop process. I do not currently have access to DAW but will give your suggestion a try as soon as I am able. Again, I appreciate your help.

If it were me - next step would be to go to View→Plugin Manager:

Ensure VST3 is the priority plugin format
Ensure the Blocklist is clean
As a final nuclear option - click Remove Plug-in Settings and say Yes when S1 asks you to restart.

Let S1 restart and it will complete reconstruct the master plugin database.

Once finished - fire up a Project or Session and drag that Ozone 11 item in - and report back.

VST3 is priority, blocklist clean, removed plug-in settings and did an S1 restart. Also tried reset window positions suggestion. No luck unfortunately. Appreciate your suggestions nonetheless.

Another bit of data that is relevant but don't know enough for it to help me sort it out: I reinstalled Ozone 10 advanced from the izotope legacy software page and have the same problem with it; individual tools will open, mastering assistant UI will not.

Update: Tried it on Reaper. Same problem but Reaper plug in scan identified visual c ++ errors and discovered two more plug-ins with same problem: Nectar equalizer and Ozone 11 low end focus. Found these to be doing same behavior as Ozone 11 mastering assistant, which also triggered a visual c++ error in Reaper scan. Have tried a repair of visual c++ redistributables and all manner of uninstall and reinstall strategies. No luck. No response yet from NI support.

How did you "repair" the VC files? and what version are you running now?

If you are open to it - I can provide a Powershell script that will get everything current in a minute or two.

I would also try enable/disable High DPI option in Studio One.

In the past, it caused some issues to users with specific video cards
