Just wanted to share a tip for anyone stuck on the Komplete Kontrol S49 MK3 firmware update. I had the ‘something went wrong’ loop until I plugged in two cables at once: the regular USB-C to my PC and a second USB-C to A into a simple phone charger for extra power. With both connected, the update finished within about half an hour. After that, everything lit up and worked fine in Komplete Kontrol, Kontakt, Maschine, etc. Might help other newbies avoid any long wait or frustration. Going to leave the two chords in the back as a permanent thing to as a preventative for any issues down the track.
